Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. and TALO Distributors Join Forces to Create a Pistol for USA Shooting Team

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR), the nation's largest firearms manufacturer, announces the introduction of the first ever USA Shooting Ruger Mark II pistol. This USA Shooting Team commemorative, distributed exclusively by TALO Distributors, features a Hi-Viz® front sight and checkered thumb-rest black laminate grips. The bolt is beautifully embellished in gold and features the USA Shooting "Victory In Athens" mark exclusive to the 2004 Olympic Games. This specially serial-numbered collector's piece also comes in a unique USA Shooting/Ruger commemorative lens label box, and is priced at $499.

"We are pleased to support our American athletes. The money from the sales of these pistols will go a long way toward helping our dedicated American shooting athletes dominate the international shooting community and aid their efforts this summer in Athens," stated Sturm, Ruger President, Steve Sanetti. "We think it is very appropriate that a Ruger Mark II pistol be used to support USA Shooting. Ruger rimfire pistols have played a major role in organized competitive shooting activities for many of today's top shooters. This USA Shooting Special Edition pistol is a great way to introduce a new shooter to the challenging sport of target pistol shooting and support the athletes of USA Shooting at the same time.

The USA Shooting Ruger Mark II pistol can be purchased exclusively through Camfour, Westfield, MA (800) 347-3276, Davidson's, Prescott, AZ (800) 367-4867, Dixie Shooter's Supply, Blakely, GA (800) 841-9441, Hill Country Wholesale, Austin, TX (800) 777-2666, LM Burney, Brownwood, TX (800) 737-3006, and VF Grace, Anchorage, AK (907) 272-6431.
