Ruger Announces New 4-Inch Barrel .44 Magnum Caliber Redhawk®
November 07, 2006
Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR), is proud to announce the addition of a 4-inch barreled .44 Magnum Redhawk® to the family of strong, reliable Ruger® double-action revolvers. "The Ruger Redhawk revolvers have long been recognized for their strength and durability, which are features that .44 Magnum shooters appreciate," said Sturm, Ruger President Stephen L. Sanetti. "This .44 Magnum has only a 4-inch barrel, leaving outdoor enthusiasts with no excuse to leave it at home while trekking through the woods." The 4-inch barreled .44 Magnum Redhawk has a low-maintenance satin stainless finish and features a newly designed Hogue® rubber grip that provides sure handling and reduction of perceived recoil. A micro-adjustable white outline rear sight complements a pinned distinctive red ramp insert front sight. The solid stainless steel frame has no side-plates to weaken its structural integrity and the 6-shot cylinder is positively aligned owing to the Ruger patented triple-locking mechanism.
