Announcing a Limited Edition Run of Ruger® M77® Hawkeye® Rifles Chambered in .300 H&H and 6.5 Creedmoor
January 14, 2009
Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) is proud to announce a limited edition run of new Ruger® M77® Hawkeye® bolt-action rifles chambered in two calibers: the classic .300 H&H and the new, super accurate 6.5 Creedmoor. A very limited number of these rifles will be available in both Hawkeye Matte Blue and Hawkeye Matte Stainless steel variations. The addition of these two calibers expands the extensive caliber offerings available in the Ruger M77 Hawkeye rifle line. The M77 Hawkeye rifles feature the smooth and crisp Ruger LC6™ trigger for improved out-of-the box trigger pull, Mauser-type controlled feeding, and a powerful claw extractor. They also have a 3-position safety, hammer forged steel barrels and Ruger patented scope rings (provided at no charge) that install on the integral mounts that never shoot loose. The redesigned, slimmer American walnut stock offers wrap-around cut checkering on the forearm and more rounded contours on the bottom of the stock and top of the pistol grip. The steel floorplate, bearing the distinctive Ruger logo, provides easy unloading and eliminates accidental "dumping" of ammunition.
