Ruger Names David McDaniel as National Accounts Manager

Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is pleased to announce that the Company has named David McDaniel as its new National Accounts Manager. McDaniel was awarded the position in May of 2013. He will report to, and work closely with, the Director of Sales, Shawn Leska, on the growth and development of key national accounts within the Company's two-step distribution model. Having worked with all trade channels and key accounts within the firearms industry, McDaniel brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to this newly created position.

"David has become a tremendous asset to Ruger, and specifically our Sales organization," said Leska. "We feel that this move will allow us to leverage his knowledge and experience even more," Leska concluded.

A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, McDaniel began his career with Smith & Wesson as a District and Regional Sales Manager. He was then named Smith & Wesson's National Account Manager and eventually was promoted to Senior National Account Manager. McDaniel joined Ruger in 2011 as the South Central Regional Sales Manager.

Ruger plans to hire a South Central Regional Sales Manager in the next few months to fill the vacant position.
