Ruger Expands the SR-Series Line of Pistols with the Value-Priced "Essential" 9E

Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is proud to announce the introduction of the Ruger® 9E™ pistol. The 9E™ is a value-priced derivative of the popular striker-fired SR9® pistol. The 9E™ features a newly designed black oxide, alloy steel slide with high-visibility 3-dot fixed sights.

The 9E™ fits the same holsters and accepts the same accessories as the rugged and reliable SR9®. The 9E™ pistol comes equipped with many familiar SR-Series features, such as a reversible backstrap; integral accessory mounting rail; ambidextrous safety; and ambidextrous D-shaped magazine release in the same high-performance glass-filled nylon grip frame as the SR9®.

The full-sized, 27.2 oz. Ruger® 9E™ pistol has a 4.14" barrel, an overall length of 7.50", a height of 5.53" and the same slim 1.27" width (across safety levers) as the SR9®. The 9E™ offers modern safety features such as a visual loaded chamber inspection port, striker blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect and an ambidextrous, frame mounted manual safety. The 9E™ ships with either one standard capacity 17-round magazine or one state-compliant 10-round magazine. The Ruger® 9E™ is supplied with a cable locking device.
